To begin, the result of texting while driving can cause families and friends deep sadness. For my next point, pedestrians and other drivers could encounter horrific, horrendous, horrible injuries that could be life threatening due to other drivers using their phones while driving.
For these innocent people that did absolutely nothing wrong to be hurt and in pain is dreadful and must be stopped and that’s why it is vital that before getting your licence I believe you should be made to take a course outlining the risk of texting and driving. By doing this it would show drivers what could happen if you take your eyes off the road for even a second to check your phone and what a traumatizing experience it is to be rushed though hospital on a stretcher in excruciating pain by an ambulance driver like

For my final point, texting while driving is extremely dangerous. Have you ever considered reading a book while driving? If not then why would you text and drive? Driving is something that requires your full attention and distractions like mobile phones shouldn’t be allowed in cars because they are a danger to yourself and others. Texting while driving makes crashing up to 23 times more likely therefore why do it?
In conclusion texting while driving must be banned because of the heartbreak families are put through, the horrible injuries and it is extremely dangerous.
