and alcoholism, but also religion. But after five hundred and thirty episodes and twenty four seasons, the Simpsons has still never gone to all the lengths to make its audience laugh as some of the other adult comedies aired on television. South Park, the adult animated series created by to corrupt minds of producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is a show that centers around the four elementary school children: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick and their adventures in town in Colorado. Don’t let the term elementary fool you, these boys are perverted, foul mouthed, hoodlums. Comedy Central’s South Park has been a hit since its first appearance in August of 1997, where two years before it was just a
skit. Parker and Stone’s creative and dreadful show discriminates against race, religion, socioeconomic standings, and anything else that pops into their tormented heads. Political issues and celebrities have no get out of jail free cards when it comes to show plots. If anything dramatic happens in the world Parker and Stone are going to take it and put their own corrupt twist on it. But it doesn’t stop there, the boys continuously make fun of their Jewish friend Kyle, making him feel bad about his religion. The boys also make fun of the poor kid in their group Kenny, and their black friend Token. What does this show other children, it show that you can make fun of other children and not get punished for it. Parker and Stone may not intend for their show to be seen by a younger audience but children are watching and the lessons they are taking from the show is it’s alright to bully and it’s alright to discriminate. After 237 episodes the show is not letting up on the graphic content or discriminative plots. With no sign of a let up,
