Since marijuana is illegal, the prices are a lot more expensive than they should be. Drug dealers jack up the prices for production, transportation and the risk of selling. Drug dealers are the biggest opponents of legalization of marijuana. They make their huge sums of money from little competition and high street prices. Legalization would lower prices and open competition. This will eliminate most, if not all of drug dealers business. If there are less drug dealers, there would be less drug related crimes, such as disputes between a drug dealer and a customer, and police would be freed up to deal with more serious crimes. There are worse crimes being committed in society that police can be paying attention to then a minor marijuana violation. They can just do the same thing with marijuana. You have to be a certain age to buy alcohol and cigarettes. There is no age limit for you to buy marijuana. Anyone and any age can have ac connection with a drug dealer and buy marijuana. If they don’t have their own drug dealer, chances are they know someone who does. Maybe legalizing marijuana would be better for the stoppage of teen marijuana
