Persuasive Letter To My Grandmother
When it comes to the hot weather in actually fine with it.As long as I'm in a well ventilated room with the air conditioner on full blast. What does concern me when it gets super hot is the elderly. For instance my grandmother, she is old school and doesn't like an ac,so you can just imagine how hot it gets in her house that's what worries me.The elderly are very fragile and as you might know the older you get the weaker your immune system gets, that includes the way your body battles the heat, so when the temperature hits 100 I find myself worrying about my grandma.Maybe there are some ways to help out my grandmother like installing an ac for her or take her to the beach or some cool park.

My grandmother lives alone which is bad on its own.Since she is comfortable with the heat she most likely wouldn't be able to tell if she is having complications from the heat.I can be there to offer plenty of help like making sure she is well hydrated keeping her as cool and comfortable as possible. So jus stoping by is great way to make sure she is ok and at the same time she'll have a good time with her favorite nephew

If not and at last resort maybe I can jus go and install some sort of cooling system.I know she doesnt like ac and all so maybe a swamp cooler would be best. They don't get super cold ,it uses more water than electricity and there potable which makes it super convenient, just plug it in and it's good to go.If alI else fails then I'm pretty sure I can talk her into installing an ac at least one in her bedroom.

So in conclusion I hope you take into account a bit of what's been said and not worry about yourself too much during those hot and muggy days.Theres other people who are vulnerable to the hot summer days. Not just grandmas but all the elderly in general need some kind of help during the dog days of

Summer heat is cause for caution. Drivers must beware of blinding sun and take care to use sunglasses or pull down visors. Hot, humid weather may also cause windshields to fog up. Using air conditioning to maintain comfortable environment for passengers and pets is also often sensible. Additionally, the temptation to take long drives may lead to driver fatigue. All of these potential hazards mean drivers should be careful driving in the summer.…

In the 1995 Chicago Heat Wave, mortality was related to living alone in that living along doubled a person’s chance of not surviving the heat wave. On the other had, and form of social connection lessened the chance of dying. Some of the main reasons that this relationship exists are because most of the people living along were older people and increasingly people with poor mobility were living alone. Living alone as an aging person was thought to be the ideal way for them to live because it gave them independence and a degree of control. However, this also isolated older people more from social contact and support networks, which lessened their chances of surviving the heat wave. Seniors living alone also dealt more poorly with acute health…

The profession of nursing has a notable history of being highly honored for its strong dedication to public health service. Nurses not only provide services for health promotion and management of chronic conditions, but also strive to provide health education related to prevention and public safety. This legislation is detrimental to support the demand for improving outcomes, guiding all levels of efforts in addressing the nation’s health, and increasing the likelihood of preventing these diseases while decreasing the mortality rates for people who are at risk.
