Fanny Price is a girl with many siblings and her family is poor. This was a stander family at this time. Fanny was moved from her family to Mansfield Park so she could work for her ant. She lived her until she became a young woman. She wash the clothes, wash the house and served food. All of this is child labour. She was expected to do everything in the house for all of them, but she was just an only child that dreamed of a good future with an education. Today 215 million of the children all around the world work as slaves. Many of them work full-time. They do not go to school, they do not have the opportunity to take an education and they do not have time to play. Many do not receive proper nutrition or care. They do not have a choice. They cannot be a normal childe. They do not know what a normal child is. All of the women who were house wives stayed at home and had the responsibility to the home and the family. Some of the women at the Victorian era had other occupations. 3% of the white women`s and 25% of the black women`s were a part of the working force. These women got wages for the work they done. Most of these women were a nurse, teacher, laundress, psychiatrist or a social worker. Some places there were also another way to stayed at home earn money. If the women lived at a farm, they could earn money by selling butter, milk and other products from the farm.
Travelling were a big focus. Women never travel alone during the Victorian time. If the women travel, they travelled with their husbands. The women could not decide where they should travel. The men decided the location they travelled too. Usually when a family travelled, the whole family were with them. Travelling were very expensive at this time.
