An introduction to Philippians 4:1-2
Visualize yourself on a missionary journey during the peak time of your life, dwelling on the sole obedience of God’s calling. Did you know that majority of people complains that church folks are mean and unloving? Church from around the globe preach daily about the love of God and God is love, yet, even in the heart of the leaders, the love of God is not there or visible. How will we display this love to others? Do you see as God sees to love others, despite their flaws? The message from the inspired word of the Lord gave us a new commandment to love one another as he loved us. In our sinful nature his unconditional love no longer condemns us, instead he brings us closer to God, Our Father. His dying on the cross, changed into the highest unconditional love that man cannot

When one views the life of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament it is evident that he had a heart to disciple others. The evidence at hand identified Paul as more than an individual who had doctrinal knowledge, for he was the quintessential model for living out the standards of Christian behavior. I think Church’s have major responsibilities to communicate the gospel message. We need to remember that it was God’s kindness that saved us. Church’s shouldn’t focus too much flaws and focus more potential. The challenges churches face in today society is how to change with the times so that they can meet human needs without losing a sense of mission and without compromising the central Christian message. Christianity is often misunderstood. Much of the misunderstanding with the local Christian church lies in its inability to be seen as "good" within the local community. The Church by definition is a collection of Christian believers from all over the world and from all times who are bound together by the shed blood of Christ and his resurrected presence. What happens week in and week out in the 4 walls of our churches should be shared with the surrounding community in one way, shape, or form. Churches should feel like a free place that is open to anyone who needs them in any way. It could be simple gestures like offer a public bathroom with a shower during business hours to anyone who needs it. Have church members bring canned foods to service every Sunday and start an open pantry for the local community. It’s these simple things that we take for granted that can have a major positive impact on our local community. Even as we proactively look for ways to reach out to those outside our 4 walls, let’s…

God gave us two gifts, life and love. God has given us the ultimate gift of love, by sacrificing his only son to give us eternal life. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." God has endless love for us, even though we are sinners by nature, his love is never ending and never changes. John 4:8 says “God is love,” people have different views on what love means to them, but the true meaning of love is what God gives us.…

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of charity. In His mortal ministry, He always went about doing good, teaching the gospel and showing tender compassion for the poor, afflicted, and distressed. His crowning expression of charity was His infinite love and compassion for others. He said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). This was the greatest act of long-suffering, kindness, and selflessness that will ever be known. The Savior wants all people to receive His love and to share it with others. He declared to His disciples: "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:34-35). In relationships with family members and others, followers of Christ look to the Savior as their example and strive to love as He loves, with unfailing compassion, patience, and…
