Photography Controversy

This year for my senior project, I have chosen to do my research on photography. This topic falls under an analytical category. Understanding a photographer’s point of view and being able to express yourself through pictures are the main reasons why I am interested in doing this project. Furthermore, I want to learn even more about the camera’s concepts, be more well known about photoshop and proving that photography is art. Additionally, I have learned basic camera techniques through photography classes years prior. Therefore, I do have past knowledge and experiences of being a photographer. The interest of photography sparked from yearbook club during freshman year. From there, I began to take photos at different games, such as football and soccer. After joining yearbook, I joined a photography class that took place after school. By the end of my senior project, I hope to prove that photography is art and be able to learn more about photoshop when getting the help from my mentor. If I fail to complete this graduation requirement, I will have the opportunity to do so after my classmates graduate and receive my diploma upon its completion. Furthermore, I understand that academic honesty is highly valued at Prep Charter High School; therefore I will not cheat on any part of my Senior Project.
