The composer of this piece was Ludwig van Beethoven, who is considered one of the significant figures in the classical world of music. It was a piece mixed with varied variations, and the piece started in the minor scale. That aside, the piece was very arrhythmic. It started with a mixture of tones built with a mysterious melody, and with varied pitches and tempo. The piece was composed in such a way that it mixed minor and major scales at the middle of the piece, which was distracting for me to follow the rhythm of the piece. The development section, which was fast paced and played in a minor scale, was very unstable, which didn’t give quality to the sound. It was one of three preludes played that night by Siwon Kim, and it was from Debussy’s Book 2. This piece was amazingly structured combined with rondo like structure, following every single beat and rhythm of the music. I believe the name itself gives amazing art to the piece. It gave the concert an electrifying and satisfactory ending. The texture was structured in a homophonic way and created with harmonious music, giving a unique impression to the whole.
