Picasso's Accomplishments
In a person’s life, art is just a small part of it. Whether you enjoy it or not, everyone can share this one experience, art. Pablo Picasso was a famous painter, born on October 25, 1881, to Jose Ruiz Blasco, and Maria Picasso, he would eventually take his mother’s last name who was also a painter. Throughout the early to mid 1900s, created wonderful art pieces that continue to grab people’s attention today. He will go down in history as one of the greatest artists in history. He consistently changed up his inspiration, going through the Blue Period, the Rose Period, Cubism, and expressionism (“Pablo Picasso” [Current Biography]). Even though these different inspirational periods were that famous, or popular, he still took them serious and created many, many pieces in this time. “Picasso’s mother once told him, ‘If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.’ Instead I was a painter, so I became Picasso” (Pablo Picasso Biography). Picasso was determined to be the best he could be in his life, he did whatever he could to make his dream become reality for him. He wanted to be a painter, so he put his mind to it. Today, Picasso is portrayed as one of the best painters in history. Pablo Picasso went through his life, changing his inspiration, so that his content would not dry up, and that is why he went down as one of the best painters in history.
