When being assigned a large task such as a school project, it's easy to become overwhelmed from the pressure of getting it accomplished and receiving a high grade. Something that I forget to do that may help me in the future is splitting up my work load each night more evenly. Pink describes this process as asking small questions. "Here's something you can do to keep yourself motivated... Before you go to sleep each night, ask yourself the small question: Was I better today than yesterday?" (Pink 155). From personal experience, I know that a lack of confidence can truly impair ones motivation.
