Pleurodeles: The Monster Phrynosomas
One day, Pleurodeles was reading a book. Then, he heard a knock on his door. He went to the door and opened it. There was a large man sitting on an elephant horse.

“Here is a message from Elourio,” the man said.

Pleurodeles took the message, said thank you to the man, and went back inside. The message said, “Pleurodeles, we need your help! The three eyed monster Phrynosoma is eating all of our livestock. Please help us!” Pleurodeles traveled to the distant planet after he read the message.

When he got to the village on Elourio, he heard people screaming in horror. He saw the monster. It had several rows of teeth, no tongue, could not make any vocal noises, and it was pale.

As Pleurodeles neared the monster, it threw a whole live

One day, at about noon, Proserpina went wandering on the seashore with the sea nymphs. Her mother begged Proserpina to stay close to the sea nymphs, as they would keep her safe. Despite her mother's best attempts, Proserpina wandered into the fields to pick flowers without the safety of the sea nymphs. One of the shrubs was very beautiful and grew new blossoms upon being looked at. It was so marvelous Proserpina decided to pull the shrub and bring it home for her mother. As Proserpina pulled the shrub a hole started to form in the ground, it grew wider and wider until suddenly, at once, a man emerged. To begin with a full description is necessary to identify the monster. He is “about eight feet in height, and proportionally large.” “His yellow skin scarcely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath; his hair was of a lustrous black, and flowing; his teeth of pearly whiteness… his shriveled complexion and straight black lips.”(Shelley 32 and 35) These descriptions come from your very own journal Robert that you have released to aid us. The monster is very tall taller than any normal man, which in turn comes to his attire. He…

He is abandoned by Frankenstein after he is created. “It was dark when I awoke; I felt cold also, and half frightened, as it were instinctively, finding myself so desolate.” The creature is frightened because he is lonely and doesn’t know what to do because no one had spoken to him since he had been created. In Branagh’s film interpretation, the creature is compared to a baby: He is created in amniotic fluid and can’t walk properly. That makes you have even more sympathy for the creature because it is like Frankenstein is abandoning a baby. The creature isn’t accepted by anyone just because of his looks. “…I had hardly placed my foot within the door, before the children shrieked, and one of the women fainted. The whole village was roused; some fled, some attacked me, until, grievously bruised by stones and many other missile weapons, I escaped to the open country…” You feel sympathy for the creature because he can’t go anywhere where there are people without being attacked as the people assume that he is a bad person based on his looks. As no one accepts him, the creature is always lonely. The creature is seen to be kind, especially at the cottage. “This trait of kindness moved me sensibly. I had been accustomed, during the night, to steal a part of their store for my own consumption; but when I found that in doing this I inflicted pain on the cottagers, I abstained, and satisfied myself with berries,…

The scent of the rain forest haze shattered Africa. A mysterious beast wandered around in the dark moving its huge head. The creature had a large massive head with a swelling forehead and a crest at the top. Its thick black coarse hair surrounded his face and body. The beast's round, huge, brown eyes glistened with worry as he roared and growled loudly. His bulky body moved through the trees as he tried to find food. He groomed his crying baby like a vacuum cleaner and protected him as he searched for their prey. He stood up like a human, picking up its newborn, moving in the darkness, and growled at the glowing, white moon echoing in the dark midnight sky. He slowly laid his son down and put him to sleep. He waited until his infant is safe…

In the ancient city of Crete lies a terror of a beast. King Minos's beloved "pet" as many of the citizens of the city called it was a ferocious creature indeed. For the time and age you may think it to be a lion, or a great bear of some sort but in fact it was something only from one's own imagination could conjure up. It was a creature unlike any other and said to be kept in a maze-like structure beneath the castle whose designers were Daedalus and his son Icarus whom you may know from familiar legends and lore of ancient time. The "creature" was half man, half beast. It was said to have the head of a bull and body like that of a man and stood uprite. In it's "den" it stalked young athenian men who had been punished, captured or put down in the labrynth for various reasons. It is believed to have been slayed by the Athenian hero Theseus but that is another story to it's own with that of Daedalus and Icarus. The subject for this conversation tonight is the "Minotaur" of Crete.…

It came on translucent, parched, low riding legs. It crawled thirty feet below half of the population., a vigorous destroyer, flashing its delicate watchmaker's claws away its oily reptilian organic structure. Each claw was a nail , a thousand tiny nails all together , above thick ropes of muscle, sheathed over thick oily skin like the flesh of a ferocious warrior. Each tentacle was a string of spaghetti, smush, and mesh. And from the great breathing cage in the chest there was a tiny head that popped out, a head that would examine you and look deep into your soul, while the snake neck coiled. And the arm itself, a ton of sculptured stone, stayed low to the surface easily below the population. Its mouth gaped, exposing a row of squid like tentacles popped out. His eyes seemed to be inexistent, tiny stones,…
