The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. This job is related to manufacturing because there’s a lot of things plumber’s responsible for and it basically connected to trade. The Plumber reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems. The Plumber will then plan install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls. Plumbers work in cooperation with other trades and labourers that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project. Plumber has a lot of responsibilities because they need to take care of water systems and etc.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma, and college or special training.

Salary and Current prospects: The average salary for a plumber is 52.000$ which is very good these days. In Ontario, the outlook for plumbers is expected to be average for 2012- 2013. Demand for plumbers is expected to remain fairly strong, although it may soften in the short term. Construction activity has moderated with the winding down of stimulus funding and with some slowing in the economic recovery. There is a strong supply of apprentice registrants in this trade.
