In the middle didn't give a accurate death rate. In the end showed John Smith as a hero.
In Pocahontas in the beginning on the movie it shows historical inaccuracies and glorification of exploration by showing the strength of the british army. When they show how they have gun and the natives are trying to see who they are. The Natives see they have gun and one of they gets shot. They also show an ease of making a new community, which was very inaccurate the way the movie showed. if you were going make a community it would take a very long time not just the time of a song and dance and the community is built.
In the middle of the movie it does not show the accuracy of death rates that actually happen during the European exploration. When it actually happen there were millions that died from both side the Europeans and the Natives. In the movie it showed maybe less that a hundred people that died. Also showed down played trial and tribution in the exploration which means they went through diseases and things. it also wasn't easy for europeans to come across the ocean most of the time everyone almost died on a couple of ships lasted.
In the end of the movie it was very inaccurate it despited John Smith as the hero that saved everyone from getting killed. Just by him talking to the Natives Americans and the
Europeans which the Natives wanted peace and the Europeans wanted to fight. Also showed romanticized relationship between Natives and Europeans that stopped the Europeans from fighting with the Natives which wanted peace. It also showed Natives and Europeans at the end holding hands, hugging showing they all loved each other.
Therefor this is how the Disney movie
