Poem Analysis: She Being Brand By Cummings

The poem “she being Brand” by Cummings is about the experience of driver with his brand new car. Throughout the poem, poet describes how careful he was and how his car reacted to his driving. The poet uses “she” referring to car, which also suggests that he is talking about a female. The author uses extended metaphor in the poem, and compare a female in her sexual mood to car.
