The challenges of implementing an integrated approach to training are various: understanding of each component needs, responsibility, synergies, etc., joint training must be done at all three levels (strategic, operational, tactical), challenges are more expected at the tactical level and not all countries have the capacities to do joint training before deployment, she said.

He also added that each component should reinforce the other in order to ensure and maximize mission-wide impact.
