In my essay, I will be trying to figure out whether political processions should be held in the different countries of the world or not, especially in Pakistan. But I hereby am going to explain that what such political procession actually means.
“Political Procession” can also be called as “political meeting on a mass scale”. The word “Jalsa” is used for this term in Urdu. It may be described as a gathering of people on a single platform on call from a political leader on account to listen to him. This is a trend, which has grown very rapidly throughout the world. Such political meetings are held throughout the world, mostly a few days before the elections. The purpose for calling such meetings is to gain an increase in the popularity of the particular and respective political parties so that by gathering people around a common political forum, they get a chance to explain their plans for the future to the people about what they have decided and planned to do if they win the elections and come into rule. The leader of the party debates and gives his points of view regarding the plans for the development and the progress of the country. He tries to persuade the people to gain maximum vote for his party by presiding over the procession and doing some amazing and emotional speeches. But the point is that what it takes to hold a meeting like this. It requires money, time, hard work and a lot more. This may be suitable to take place in the developed countries but in countries like Pakistan, its happening or occurrence should be given a consideration. In our country, there are a lot of issues and problems regarding poverty, education, energy crisis, security and many more. On the other hand, there are a series of such huge political gatherings held by political parties which take place on various time spots to gain acceptance.
