Ronald Reagan is an example of a candidate who used this tactic in order to convince voters to vote for him. In document B, a picture of Reagan and his wife are just walking and laughing in a crowd of people. This shows that he went through a wedding ceremony, just as any other normal citizen may do. Just plain folks is an effective tactic in campaigning because normal, everyday citizens can relate to the candidates everyday lifestyle being portrayed. It also helps certain candidates who may come off as arrogant. Lastly, this tactic persuades citizens to trust and to have interest in the candidate. I believe this is a very effective political tactic, and would use this for of propaganda in campaigning because I believe that if citizens feel that they relate to the candidate in some way, they will lean more towards voting for that candidate. I trust those who I have more relations with rather than someone who is nothing like me; therefore this is my second choice of propaganda because it allows citizens to relate to the candidate and trust them more than they would someone who has no relation to them
