Pollution
Pollution……….

Our world is being polluted every day more and more with factories and cars. People are not realizing that this is hurting our world. Money won’t be able to fix that soon because money can’t grow trees or develop animals. We need to start making a real improvement in our world today; make it a better world to live in for the new generation.

One way we could help is hybrid cars. One reason why these cars are better are because they have a battery pack that you can plug in and it lasts you a very long time and only have to go to the gas station once every month! One less car burning fuel can mean the difference in our world.
Another thing that is polluting our world is air pollution. Factories every day are creating more and more smoke and it is even creating smog. They have these misty sprinklers in the stack of factories where the smoke comes out to make it less dense. That is how I think that we should live our lives and how we should clean up our world.
Pollution happens absolutely everywhere, every single second of the day, everywhere on earth. It happened in any city, any town, or any state. You can find pollution in cars, home electronics, personal hygiene products, natural disasters, and even your own home. Pollution is poison for anything that lives and breathes; it could toxify water, air, land, humans, and animals, and is not to be taken lightly. As a law people should be more considerate of their surroundings and try harder to preserve the world we live in, even if it is inconvenient to us. Because if we don’t save ourselves, who will?
The effects we could do to save our planet from pollution could be proactive, instead of catastrophic and disastrous. Everyone benefits when we have clean water, air, land, etc. not just one thing. For example, you never hear any news on the TV, or over the internet talking about how a person passed away from clean air overdose, that would be crazy. Instead we hear news like, man died from pollution,

Living on this earth is a privilege and unfortunately we sometimes take advantage of it. Stories of deforestation, air and water pollution really make a person think of just how much our planet is being harmed. A major concern is water pollution. Water covers at least 70 percent of the planet which makes our rivers, lakes, and oceans essential. Many of these bodies of water are being polluted and although they may be out of sight, they eventually help pollution increase. Actions should be made to stop the pollution of our waters before things get worse. If we want to decrease the amount of pollution it starts out by increasing the amount of recycling we do. It shouldn’t stop there. Not only should efforts to improve laws against water pollution be made but public awareness¬¬ has to be raised about this issue.…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

I believe the best and most effective answer to that question is reduce the amount of energy that we use. The first and simplest step is to reduce your power consumption. Creating power is one of the largest uses of fossil fuels which means the less power made, the less fossil fuels used. Everybody can use less power by simply turning off lights and unplugging appliances when not in use. Most appliances continue to consume power even after they have been turned off, if everybody just unplugged their electronics or switched off the power strip energy would become a lot more sustainable. Another huge problem with the world is automobiles. While most people love their cars and don’t want to lose the freedom to go anywhere their thoughts might be changed when they look at all the negatives cars produce. First, is all the time, energy, and resources used to make a car. Most car parts are made from expendable ores and minerals and then shipped across the globe. This not only uses up mineral reserves in the production of the parts but consumes large amounts of petroleum energy in the transportation process. Then, as everybody knows all these cars consume huge amounts of energy in the form of gas every day, this will deplete our oil supply in no time. Cars also need roads to drive on. Roads are the leading consumer of the United States mineral resources, and the…

In addition, the world would be a better place if each of us has enough knowledge to know what we’re doing toward our living-environment. If we use and control reasonably our natural resources, our surroundings wouldn’t be polluted like that. The blame for increasingly polluted environment today lies entirely in us. We’ve caused everything and been losing our life. Furthermore, the effects of living in polluted environment make us less healthy. People get respiratory and skin disease, especially cancer. We’re facing the consequences of our actions. If we don’t take immediate steps to help reduce global warming, we’ll suffer more serious effects in the future. Don’t wait until it’s too…

There are 1 billion children living in poverty (1 in 2 children in the world), 40 million live without adequate shelter, 400 million have no access to safe water. Every second 4 people die from hunger; around 27-28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted. Even though in 2008, according to UN, the majority of the world population is living in the urban, people are still suffering from poverty and hunger, even malnutrition. The poverty issue is getting more serious than ever, we have to do something to end it. To end poverty, environmental sustainability is the largest barrier, because everyone depends on natural resources for one’s live hood; basically all the natural resources are somehow vital. Lack of natural resources can also affect the sustainability of the country’s society. Climate change, in my opinion, is the most and critical issue. Pollution problem is one of the major environmental problems we have to face, because pollution will lead climate changes, for example, global warming. So if we are serious about preventing the world from climate change, we have to deal with the pollution issue all over the world first.…

Some of the things that we take for granted could really help the environment if we could just take that first step to stop and think about what we are using and throwing away. For instance we all buy pop which is supplied in a plastic bottle and approximately 50% of us that do just take that bottle and throw it away in the garbage to be taken to our city dumps. This provides more trash. Reduce the amount of the Earth 's resources that we use. Reuse it do not just bin it, could someone else make use of it? Recycle Can the materials be made into something new? Reduce what you have to use,...…

For many people, pollution isn’t a big deal. People drive their cars and don’t think about the toxic pollution being released into the air and what that pollution does to the atmosphere. They throw soda cans and other garbage out of their car windows not caring about what affects it has on wild life. They also dump toxic chemicals into the ground and water not caring about killing any wild life or plant life. Most people either don’t realize or don’t care that their actions have serious consequences to the environment around them. Pollution is killing the world.…
