Thesis: Although the United States of America has branched away to form their own government system, a group of parties seem to develop over time. The Federalist Party, who is proudly run by Hamilton, and the Democratic-Republican, who is run by Jefferson, both use ways to indulge themselves in making the United States a much better place to live compared to what they use to live under England’s rule.

Paragraph One: Beliefs in the Government
Topic Sentence: Both of the leaders of the parties and their supports saw how to form the government of the United States differently. The Federalists wanting a government in which would help them have control over commerce, tax, declaring war, and making treaties. And then there was the Democrat-Republic who just wanted local control over a national system for the new government.

The Federalists wanted a government in which had loose interpretation of the constitution, but overall believed in a strong government.
Due to having a strong government, the Federalist’s had a military policy in which they had a strong time army and navy.

Topic Sentence: In a similar fashion the two parties had different ideals when it came to taxation and how to repay debts from previous wars they were elicited in.
