(A) Description of Problem
Poslaju is currently facing the complaints that made by customers, which is the tracking code provided is only able to track the parcel but it is unable to locate the parcel. The customer service of Poslaju also cannot locate the parcel once the parcel was in the process of delivering.
Furthermore, customers are unable to know the exact time of the arrival of the parcel that supposed to be delivered by hand, so some customers are absent to receive it. The postman in charged is forced to bring back the undelivered parcel and may cause inconveniences.
Besides, the sorting of the parcel in Poslaju is time-consuming. It is because Poslaju uses labour workforce in identifying and sorting the parcels. It will delay the delivery process and causes the customer cannot receive the parcel on time.
The other problem that faced by Poslaju is the parcel is delivered to wrong address. The postmen of Poslaju are always on duty without using a Global Positioning System (GPS) in their delivery vehicles. The postmen are also unable to choose the most efficient and shortest pathway to get all the parcels delivered. They will rush their delivery without checking the details and information properly.
