Biologists over the years have observed that some species evolve in response to the changes in another. These changes can occur in different levels and in different intensities. Some species exhibit molecular changes such as the structures of macromolecules like proteins or lipids, while others show morphological and behavioural changes in the presence of other organisms. Some evolutionary changes that happen in a species can be a change that is most especially directed towards its adaptation in its relationship with another organism. This evolution that happens in response to the changes in the biotic factors of the ecosystem is called co-evolution. The habits or changes in one organism in an ecological relationship create a pressure that drives changes to another. Therefore, evolutionary changes in organisms due to changes in temperature, water and other abiotic factors are not co-evolution, even if changes happen simultaneously in organisms that are in a specific ecological relationship.…

“To have a working understanding of economics is to understand the largest part of life. We pass our years, most of us, contemplating the relationship between the money we earn and the money we need, our thoughts suspended, as it were, between the two. Economics is about what we earn and what we get for it. So an understanding of economics is an understanding of life’s principal preoccupation”.…

In the article,” Late Term Abortions Should Be banned”, Susan E. Wills argues late term abortion is unnecessary and should be banned. She gives descriptions of what happens during these procedures. The information is provided from doctors and nurses and judges supporting her argument. In the first portion of the article she uses historical reference of the Nazi occupied Germany in comparison to late term abortions, claiming they are much too close to infanticide. She questions where the line should be drawn on abortion and what people are willing to consider OK. Towards the end of her article wills also gives the Americans opinion on late term abortions. She gives reference to national polls on this topic in favor of the ban. She goes into detail of how the view of abortion has changed in America.…
The purpose of this paper is to address the issue of police use of deadly force, community policing and the distrust of the police by the community. In addition to providing you with the issues of community oriented policing I will be evaluating the case of Michael brown and Darien Wilson and giving my position on what happened or what should have happened along with a summary of the case. In the case of Michael Brown and Darian Wilson who was a police officer for the Ferguson Missouri Police Department and was not charged with murder after taking the life of teen Michael Brown. According to several news reports Michael brown and a friend were walking in the street when Officer Wilson came and order them to walk on the side walk instead of in the street after doing so it was reported that brown and Wilson had some exchange of words and is what caused the incident to accrue. After their exchange of words, it was reported that a fight occurred between the two followed by the death of brown. My purpose is to prove that the decision of Darian Wilson not being indicted for the murder of a unarmed teen was not right and sends a message to others as well as myself that it ok for officers to commit murder because they are law enforcers.…

Everything went as stated on the programs that were given to all of us that attended.…
A developed country does have a moral duty to produce food over fuel crops when hunger is global issue. Allowing someone to go hungry to be able to fuel a vehicle is immoral. There is a moral duty to make sure that America is not consuming all our food sources to lessen the cost of our fuel imports. Food should be in demand and be available for the poor. It is important to be able to curve the hunger with a source that has many options for usage.…
Prohibition was merely an experiment that Prohibitionist had high hopes for, the idea was now that society, no longer had alcohol beverages to spend their money on, their finances would go to other things like dairy products, modern appliances, life Insurance, savings, and education. This noble idea went all but ignored by the American citizen; creating a Golden Age that was filled with illegal activity. There was gambling, switch of additive narcotics, and lots of alcohol. As Carla Due mentioned, a farmer who lived in the United States during the Prohibition era, “It made it more exciting to do something you weren’t supposed to do.” (Meredith)In the end, the 18th Amendment only created a new type of night life that was taken full advantage of by some Italian immigrants. The American-Italian mafia was created by Italian immigrants that once belonged to the Sicilian Mafiosi. It wasn’t until the mid-19th century that Mafiosi member began to escape from Sicily, Italy. The American-Italian mafia was a well-organized operation that became famous for their involvement in illegal manufacture and trade of alcoholic beverages during the Prohibition era in the 1920s.…
Diabetes is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease, blindness, lower limb amputations and kidney failure in the United States (CDC, 2013a; Green, Brancati, & Albright, 2012). Diabetes is also a major cause of diabetic neuropathy, retinopathy, stroke and the seventh-leading cause of death in the U.S. (CDC, 2013a; O 'Connor, & Wellenius, 2012). The Centers for Disease Control estimated that diabetes would affect up to 33% of the U.S. population by 2050. In 2010, nearly 26 million individuals living in the U.S. had been diagnosed with diabetes and about 79 million are at high risk of developing the disease; this figure is almost more than three times higher than the total population living with diabetes in 1980 (Green, Brancati, & Albright, 2012), (CDC, 2013a; O 'Connor, & Wellenius, 2012; Zhou et al, 2012). About 1.9 million new cases are diagnosed annually in the U.S. and its prevalence has increased 5- to 7- fold in the U.S. (Green, Brancati, & Albright, 2012; ADA, 2013). About 90-95% of all newly diagnosed diabetes is directly linked to type 2 diabetes (CDC, 2013a; O 'Connor, & Wellenius, 2012).…
