In many cases the lower class citizens may not know where their next meal is coming from or where they’re going to be sleeping at night. On the other side the upper class citizens often times have too much wealth and are set for life. Instead of focusing on the lower class and providing the necessities the lower class needs the focus seems to be on making sure money keeps flowing in for the upper class. In relation to Zone One lower class citizens would love to have the amenities the upper class has. In contrast to the upper class, the lower class would actually put some of the excess items to good use instead of taking the items for granted. An example that comes to mind is money for higher education. In many cases, students that come from an upper class family and are pursuing higher education normally don’t have to worry about attending college because their parents or another family member will pay their entire tuition along with any other expenses. Many upper class students certainly have a luxury many would love to have when it comes to pursuing education. Meanwhile students who come from a lower class family are often struggling to pay for higher education, or are unable to pursue higher education because of the financial burden it provides.
