I observed a group of girls at third lunch. This group happens to be the group I’m apart of. All six of us are sophomores. During third lunch we sit at the same table every day, in the same spots. We aren’t some organized group or club, just friends at lunch. No one in our group dresses similar, looks similar, or talks similar. But, we all like to mess around and have a laugh.

Who are you anyway? Sitting there telling people what to do…” This quote is fitting because it brings into question who actually is in control. I observed that Brittney thinks she’s in control. I believe when people get to a certain point they forget right and wrong and will do whatever it takes to get what they want. It isn’t just in Lord of the Flies or with my group, but many people have this problem. She is the one who is most like Jack in the aspect that sometimes the hunger for power clouds her morals.
