Practice and program evaluations play an imperative role within programs and organizations. A program purpose, mission, and intent are evaluated to explore the effectiveness and accountability based on the detailed expectations and outcomes. When analyzing the organization through practice and program evaluations, a precise assessment measuring the progress and area for growth will persist. Program evaluations for social work programs provided in a school setting, aim to assess and review the effectiveness through inquisitive methods to ensure appropriate delivery of services to students. The program in environment perspective will ensure program development and progression by allowing stakeholders to elaborate on current objectives and standings. The perspective further utilizes a structure that will allow an observation of the program in both its local community environment and the societal and political environment (Grinnell, Jr., Gabor, & Unrau, 2012). When reviewing the case scenario, the school social work program mission is to ensure and promote Nina success. Ms. Jenkins job to provide effective, efficient and equity services to the targeted program population is level 1 within the program in environment perspective. Analyzing and assessing how the locality-based community environment, such as the school and community environs, affects Bentley Middle School program is level 2 and is a vital step. Due to Nina unaccompanied minor status, the program faces many challenges in establishing a concrete plan to not only assist Nina currently, but also aid many prospect students to come. By broadening the evaluation and reviewing current political and societal information pertaining to laws, policies, resources and future state and government actions that can potentially assist with enhancing service delivery, is considered level 3 and is also a key factor. The ability to enlarge and enhance many school programs through facilitating service delivery procedures for unaccompanied minors which is known as a growing epidemic, is an example of how the program in environment perspective can infrastructure a plan on a macro level, during a program evaluation. Keeping in mind that each level interconnects and influences the other will remain a focus during the program
