2. A widely believed misconception is that only certain people can be hypnotized, but Dr. John Kappas came up with the Model of Physical and Emotional Suggestibility and Sexuality. By doing this he rendered the former limitations outdated. Dr. Kappas developed a method of identifying the behavior of an individual, and hypnotizing him or her according to the E and P behavioural model. His methods continue to be practised around the world, with 100% success rate in hypnotic induction.
a. Hypnosis is created by an overload of message units, disorganizing our inhibitory process (critical mind ), triggering our flight/fight mechanism and ultimately creating a hyper suggestible state, providing access to the subconscious mind.
3. Suggestibility is the way in which someone learns. Initially learning is accomplished thorough our primary caretaker, from birth to approximately age five. Then from age’s six to nine, the child’s suggestibility is also influenced by his peers, teachers, and others. During the ages of nine and fourteen, the secondary caretaker begins influence of the child’s suggestibility.

b. Physical and emotional suggestibility types. A psychical suggestible takes in information literally and speaks in inference. Whereas an emotional suggestible takes in information via inference and speaks very literally. A somnambulist has a 50/50 suggestibility and responds well to both direct and inferred suggestions. An Intellectual is an individual who has a high percentage of emotional suggestibility. An intellectual is constantly trying to analyze, reject or rationalize everything that is said to them. They usually have a fear of being controlled by the hypnotist.
