There was somewhat of an exposition at the beginning of act 1 when Daphne woke up and started talking to all of Gary's house workers. We then soon figured out that Gary is somewhat of a womanizer because of how his secretary talked to Daphne. Daphne claimed to have "forgot" her key to her house and that is why she had to stay in Garry's guest bedroom. The audience could obviously tell that the house workers knew that her story was lie. The point of attack occurs in Gary's living room on the first morning when he kicks Daphne out of his house. She cried and begged him to let her stay and she claimed that she loved him. Gary gave her the old "it's not you, it's me" speech. The action of this play would be all the events that involved Gary. The whole play Gary was talking about going to Africa for his trip and all of these side events kept happening. A man called Roland shows up and Roland is madly in love with Gary. He shows up multiple times at Gary's house and Gary really started to get annoyed and uncomfortable with Roland. This added a lot of funny moments in the play because Roland made everything awkward but yet funny and interesting. Gary also sleeps with another woman
