President Rutherford B. Hayes’ Inaugural Address
Dear Citizens of the United States,
I am grateful for this privilege and opportunity to serve my country and my people. I am merely continuing the work of our forefathers and I am honored.
Our nation has come a long way since the time when we were under British control to this day when we are free and have fought to keep our nation united. You also know that during the fight to keep our nation united we lost a lot of money and there was a maximal amount f chaos and destruction. Our last president did his best to put the broken pieces of our country back together but now it is time for a new beginning. It is time for us to start a fresh and rebuild this country which we call OUR NATION.

Look beyond the problems and crisis that we face now and anticipate, look forward to the day when they will all be gone and will be at peace and prosper.
As I mentioned before, the last president, General Grant did his best to take this nation to a better place. During his administration, he was able to pass the Specie Resumption Act to relieve the citizens from the issue of greenbacks. Also, he
