Priorities of Health Care
With the current changes happening within the United States of America, one of the major changes is with Health Care. We take a look at what someone in the Healthcare profession feels are some of the top priorities that should be looked at. I interviewed a friend on November 7th, 2013 who is a Registered Nurse at a local hospital and what he feels we need to focus on. Quality of Care
The first priority he came up with was increasing the quality of care for the patients. According to him “ We can’t increase the quality of care if we aren’t willing to hire more workers so that we have more time to really pay full attention to our patients.” I feel that this is one of the biggest priorities out there and simply hiring a few more workers so that the people currently working are not loaded with so many tasks that they can notcannot provide the necessary care for the patients. Improving Patients Health
This priority I found went pretty hand in hand with the previous one listed. If we have enough people working so the current workers are not overloaded then we can focus more on the little things needed to keep everything less prone to becoming a hazard for the patients. Changing of equipment at scheduled times and being able to take necessary precautions so that no one has to be in danger of acquiring a sickness from previous patients. Lowering Cost for Health Care
According to the person iI interviewed “Health Care needs to be more even around the board the working class people are not benefitting from this and the richer people should pay more.” I find that this is absolutely true, it is like a tax the more you make the more you should pay. Taking the load off the working class will help out a lot, lot; the rich can afford to pay a little
