Augustine Private Hospital in 2011 announced the opening with the expansion of their hospital, of the second Doctor’s clinic on the Mezzanine floor within their grounds. This expansion supplies the huge demand for doctor-patient relationships in the country. Catering to the needs of individuals throughout the nation, the Hospital lengthened their range of services in their Mezzanine Clinic in the areas of Gynaecology (the practice that deals directly with the health of the female reproductive organs), Neurosurgery (the performance of surgery on the brain and the spinal cord- nervous system), Psychiatry (the study of mental illness, abnormal behaviour and treatment of emotional disturbances), Pediatrics, Obstetrics (practices concerned with childbirth and treating or caring for women during childbirth), Orthopaedics (this deals mainly with the correction of deformities and disorders for impairments of the skeletal system) and Surgeries- General, Plastic and Paediatric.
