Hunger and Starvation In this paper I am going to be discussing the topic of starvation around the world, not so much in America but in Eastern Europe. This is an issue that if It could be resolved could better the economy in the world. Seeing how Europe is a large part of the world and there are so many poor starving people over there, I would like to bring a question to the surface that we can think about: Do people in these places of hunger and starvation such as Russia and Ukraine care that that these people go hungry and without food?
The reason I would like to discuss this topic is because I am originally from Russia and also I lived in Ukraine for 2 years. Hunger and Starvation is a topic that I pay great attention to. Having lived as a starving orphan boy for the early childhood years of my life I can relate and understand what it is all about. I know many people in those countries that are not as fortunate as many of us here in the United states. I am close to this issue because my own father was also poor and was not able to take care of myself and my older sister who is also from Russia.
The reason this is so problematic is that we all think so differently, one person may think that these people who are hungry did it to themselves, they do not look or think of any reasons that they may be the way they are. Many people do not go deeper into people’s lives other then what they see at first sight. We are all so quick to judge someone in the first few seconds of seeing them. I wonder if we all took a moment to ask ourselves what a specific person has gone through and why they could be the way they appear, would this change anyone’s mind?
We can look at this issue through a different set of eyes. Do people that are raised in a poor and un- healthy environment actually cause hunger and starvation on themselves? The way a person is raised has a lot to do with the decisions he/she will make later
