Problems Facing The Black Community

The black community I live in in Brooklyn, NY has faced a lot of issues linked to poverty and racism. Some of the most prevalent issues facing blacks today and particularly poor blacks are education, incarcerated, violence, housing, employment, and ta lot more. In order to find a solution for all these problems, one must be able to find their resources, which a lot of people in my community don’t have the opportunity to explore. The roots of these problems can be structural or cultural. The supporters of the structural schools tend to blame broader social structures when they see the roots of the problems being outside the community. On the other hand, the supporters of cultural tend to blame the community itself.
