“A measure of the efficiency of a person, machine, factory, system, etc., in converting inputs into useful outputs.”

How to increase business productivity?
Management can take following steps to increase business productivity.

Reduce cost of production:

By reducing cost of production we can increase productivity of our business. We can sell our goods at low price that will increase our sales that leads to high profitability.

Increase production:

Increase production will decrease cost per unit produced. Decrease in production will improve our productivity of our business.

Conduct training sessions:
Training sessions should be conducted so that employees can use new technology and equipment in a better way and that can work more efficiently and effectively. business developing tools:
Incorporate efficient business developing tools like business decision support systems to minimize the work load and enhance the overall performance in different sectors.
Communication channel:
We should create a proper communication channel to understand and solve different organizational affairs and problems. Proper communication will lead to enhance productivity by enhancing efficiency in business decisions.

Use of latest technology will help to reduce our production cost and make our production process more efficient and productive.
Proper use of Resources:
A key driver of cost saving and productivity improvements is the efficient and cost-effective management of key resources your business relies on, such as energy, materials and water.
Empowered Employees:
Giving the front-line employees the tools they need to do their jobs more effectively can be good for productivity. Allowing workers on the floor the flexibility to solve customer problems frees up supervisors and managers to do more important tasks, such as planning for the future of the department and addressing training needs.
