1. Introduction
1.1 Motivation
Seeing students all over the country going at the ministry queuing up for days for loans approval, running up and down to and from the ministry and their institution if something is not well with their loans, and queuing up at their institutions to find out how much the ministry awarded them every year and going to the ministry to hand in their academic records and the proof of the registration, and NSFAF distributes millions of applications forms country-wide to all secondary schools, institutions and high learning, vocational training centres, colleges and regional education/councils offices, and sending them to individuals postal addresses on request has made me realise that there is a problem with the usage of the current system. Coming up with an online application, notification and reminder that will make things easier for students, the ministry, and the institutions is what encouraged me.
1.2 Problem Statement
The current system at NSFAF is very slow, delays in notifying student about their loans status, whether approved or not, awarded amount, waste of resources, printing of lots of application paper to distribute country wide, and hiring casual workers to help entering data from the applications to the database manually which is tiring, time consuming, applications can get lost or misplaced, no proper communication between students, the ministry, and their institutions about their funds.
1.3 Objectives
Accuracy: The level of accuracy will be higher. All operation would be done correctly and it ensures that whatever information recorded is
