Using an innovative method like leaflets, Hitler was successful in trying to put the people under his control. They blamed the Jews for cultural, economic, and social problems that occurred in World War I. They moved the Jews around, and intentionally overcrowded concentration camps (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum). They were forced to work for the Germans, and all their belongings were taken away by people who were not Jews, hidden from the public using newspapers. Blaming someone for their losses is the best way to bring someone to a person’s side, and Hitler did that. By blaming the Jews for Germany's losses, the Germans automatically came to Hitler’s side. Newspapers in Germany posted caricatures depicting the Jews, furthering Hitler’s stronghold on the Germans’ opinions.
