The process of traveling of people from their own nation to another nation for the purpose of giving birth is known as birth tourism. “Birth tourism” alludes to the act of making a trip to another nation for the sole motivation behind conceiving an offspring in that nation. Only, few nations give out citizenship to any kids that are born on their land and United States is one of the countries that provides citizenship to people that are born on their land. According to the article posted in Newsmax by Breana Noble some of the pros of birthright citizens are low rate of illegal immigrants, it could save on healthcare and social services, helps in protecting the countries culture and some of the cons are hurting diversity because people from different countries stop coming which brings diversity. Amendment to the constitution may be needed because 14 Amendment provides citizenship that is born on their land. To remove that it may take years and years of long process. Millions of American citizenship will come in doubt.
