Fluoride has been the subject of great debate between those who believe we need fluoride in our water to help prevent tooth decay and those who say it’s a toxic substance that is leading to many health problems.

I have contacted the governor’s office twice to find out what it plans to do with the affidavits but I didn’t receive a response by press time. Neither did I receive a response from the Arkansas Department of Health.
One can find study after study online of the detrimental health effects of fluoride as well as many studies touting its benefits. So who are we to believe?
While I haven’t studied the issue in depth, people across the country are fighting passionately to have fluoride removed, claiming the fluoride that is added to our drinking water is actually a toxic waste by-product that is costly to dispose of. Instead of having to dispose of it, big businesses have convinced our health officials that it was good for our teeth and had it placed in our drinking water.
Therefore, not only did they not have to pay to dispose of it, but are actually making money off of it.
