Pros And Cons Of Soda Machine Frustrate
I have noticed that every time I go to my local McDonalds the soda machine, or latte machine is always down. This is extremely frustrating. During breakfast most people would like to drink their lattes or even a cold soda. I’m going to give my complaints on why this may frustrate people or elders sometimes.

Some reasons for these complaints of mine are because we don’t understand how your machines can be down almost every morning. Every time I have been to McDonalds I have been frustrated with their machines. If it’s not me, I know for sure that it’s probably somebody else or even our parents. This problem has been going on for a while now and I would like to know why. I mean if the machines are down because they broke, I understand completely.

As Sarah Conly states, “It’s hard to give up the idea of ourselves as completely rational. We feel as if we lose some dignity. But that’s the way it is, and there’s no dignity in clinging to an illusion,” (“Three Cheers for the Nanny State”). In other words, people think that they are logical and know right from wrong. This is the top reason for this controversy. The soda ban is an idea that was stated in New York when Major Bloomberg decided to restrict extra large soda sizes. This created a split between the people who are for this regulation and the people who are opposing it. The soda ban is a good idea because it benefits public health and it helps people make unbiased decisions.…

No matter one’s opinion of McDonald's while in America, the familiar golden arches can be a welcome sight when traveling in a foreign country. I discovered this firsthand when I spent my summer in Ukraine. Although the comparison between the little, Ukrainian grocery stores, dirty street markets and the American looking McDonald's was stark, I still expected to get the same old sandwich and disgusting cup of coffee. I found myself pleasantly surprised with the remarkably improved quality from its American counterpart. My friend convinced me to try a latte and an egg sandwich. After that, every time I walked past a McDonald's I looked forward to stopping, especially for a latte. I have only purchased an American McDonald's coffee once since…

In regards to whether or not we should ban sodas and fast food on the campus of State University, I disagree with this action. I do not think that we should ban fast food or sodas because people are entitled to what they want to eat. By prohibiting fast food and sodas, we would outrage some of the students and they would feel some of their rights are taken by limiting their number of food sources they are entitled to. Even though the obesity rate is high in the USA, people still have the right to consume anything that they want to. Whether or not they know the consequences of what they are putting into their bodies is not our problem, but we can’t take away from them. Life is all about choices. They choose…
