On December 24, 1865 in Pulaski TN, the Ku Klux Klan was formed. Being a radical white supremacy group, it still brings a great amount of attention to hate groups within our country and our world. In 2014, ISIL was officially recognized. ISIL is known for terrorism, religious hate, and brings great notice to these common concepts of today. Robin Hood and his band of merry men are seen as heroes in writing, however these three groups can all be seen as hate groups, but in their own opinion they are doing the right thing. People have strong beliefs that they are willing to fight for, even if society disagrees with them. The revival in 1920 of the KKK was mainly focused around Catholic and Jewish immigrants, although their adversaries also includ lesbians, gays. Many do not agree with the opinions and life choices of the Ku Klux Klan. The idea of cross burning, physical violence, and verbal aggression is not acceptable to others, but this does not make their choices wrong. The Klan members believe they are good and society cannot change that belief. Established as a separate group from Al Qaeda in 2014, ISIL has been the center of many terrorist attacks, including 9/11, the Boston bombings, and the Brussel attacks. ISIL claims that they are following the word of Allah through the word of the Quran and that they are doing good by their people. ISIL eventually hopes to create a total state of Islam under the Sharia law believing that they are right, and holy.
