Introduction
When we talk about the strategic industries in the manufacturing sector of Malaysia then automobile industry of the country comes in the mind which has pushed industrialization in Malaysia. As compared to other sectors like FMCG, pharmaceutical, telecom etc we can see that automobile industry has boosted the industrialization process in the country to the heights. Automobile industry of Malaysia is named as one of the main producers and the exporter of spare parts, auto components and accessories of automobiles. Countries like United Kingdom, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia etc are among the major importer of automobiles of the country. The presence of automobile industry of Malaysia in the world reflects from the fact that big automobile manufacture companies like Mercedes, General Motors, Ford, Suzuki, Mazda etc import automotive spare products and accessories from Malaysia. The world believes to the fact that the auto components and accessories provided by Malaysian automobile industry are high in quality and very competitive in price. The tie ups of previously mentioned big companies in automobile industry with the automobile industry of Malaysia tell the rest of the story.

Automobile Industry is taken as a major source of income in Unites States and Japan. In both these countries more than ten percent of employment is generated from the automobile sector. In the year 2009, the worldwide figure of the produced car and commercial vehicle reached to 60 million. Year 2007 was incredible for automobile sector of the world, in this year total 79.9 million automobiles were sold in the world.
