Psalm 139
The passage Psalm 139 The passage Psalm 139 is a great passage for a young Christian to read. It gives the feeling of hope and wanting to do God’s will for mankind. The passage is saying if someone whether they are a holy man or scholar has a lot of knowledge on the world and the Bible; God will always have more. The passage is saying God is all powerful and all knowing. People are present in one place, while God is present in all places. The power people have are no comparison to the power of God. He is all powerful and perfect in every way. He is an extreme God in the way He goes to the end of time and back for mankind’s salvation. God is omnipresent and omnipotent in every way possible. He is more incredible and more perfect than I will ever know how to describe or put into words. David is asking God to keep him clean in the spirit of the Lord. David also tells God he thank you for saving my a sinner like me and that God created him and know when and before he was born or even thought to be conceived. David in the passage is thankful for God and his amazing grace He showed to David. David is also thanking God for putting his name in the Lambs Book of Life, so David will have everlasting life in heaven with God. David also tells God he hates enemies of God with a perfect hate meaning he hates their actions not the person. The way this passage relates to current life is the way I am thankful for my salvation and thankful for God giving me everlasting life. God has done many great and wonderful things in my life, He has given me many blessing in my life, first from being born into the world, giving me salvation by his holy grace and now giving me the opportunity to marry the girl of my dreams and His divine plan. I also do not hate anyone, but I do hate the actions of people that go against Gods word and wisdom. God has helped and guided me in directions I thought I would never go. He has helped me with

Essentially, the question posed is asking what our personal Christian counseling view is using Psalm 8 and 139. First, the Psalms tell me that God knows me in every way. He knows my every thought, action, and emotion even before I do. In fact, He knew these before He created me (Psalm 139, ESV). This is more than the human mind can truly understand.…

The tribes of Israel had many problems working together. Each tribes had their own leader with different rules to follow. The people of Israel demanded a King to be like the other nations. Samuel attempted to answer the concerns of the people by appointing his sons to be judges over Israel, but the Elders was not happy with Samuel’s decision. His sons were not keeping God’s commandments and had none of Samuel characteristics. They were not a good candidate to be their leaders.…

“Psalm” is the longest book in the bible and is written in prayers, poems, and hymns. It is about God and His creation, war, worship, wisdom, sin, evil, judgement, and the coming of the Messiah. “Psalm 89” talks about Ethan’s realizations about God, the great things that God has done, and the promises that He has made. It also explains that God is angry with the Israelites for sinning, so a psalmist asks The Lord to have mercy on them. After he asks for mercy, he says, “Remember how short my life is, how empty and futile this human existence! No one can live forever; all will die. No one can escape the power of the grave” (Psalm 89.47-48). The people wanted forgiveness but nobody knew how long they would have to live and they knew that death will take over eventually. In other words, they wanted to be forgiven before they…

His righteous indignation turned into ill-controlled anger, revenge, and unhealthy ambition that brought grief to David and the untold suffering of innocent people. Be wary of righteous indignation becoming something you do not intend. We grieve the Holy Spirit when we go the “way of Absalom,” and when we reject the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:25-31). As a Church Father noted: By despising God’s words of instruction we grieve the Holy Spirt, and the Holy Spirit leaves us to our own self-will, but then God’s work in us is cut short (Ambrosiaster).…

    Song of Solomon

Men’s repeated abandonment of women in Song of Solomon shows that the novel’s female characters suffer a double burden. Not only are women oppressed by racism, but they must also pay the price for men’s freedom. Guitar tells Milkman that black men are the unacknowledged workhorses of humanity, but the novel’s events imply that black women more correctly fit this description. The scenes that describe women’s abandonment show that in the novel, men bear responsibility only for themselves, but women are responsible for themselves, their families, and their communities. For instance, after suffering through slavery, Solomon flew home to Africa without warning anyone of his departure. But his wife, Ryna, who was also a slave, was forced to remain in Virginia to raise her twenty-one children alone. Also, after Guitar’s father is killed in a factory accident, Guitar’s grandmother has to raise him and his siblings. Although she is elderly and ill, she supports her children financially, intellectually, and emotionally.…

The novel Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison takes place in an unnamed city in Michigan between the years 1931 and 1963. The novel’s protagonist, Milkman Dead, lives with his father, Macon Dead II, his mother, Ruth, and his two sisters, Magdalene and First Corinthians. His father being somewhat obsessed with owning things and earning wealth, Milkman was raised more privileged than the typical African American teenager during this time. Despite the freedom and appeal that money tends to provide, Milkman increasingly feels more and more restricted by his family structure and society’s monotonous path.…

Chapter 7 is titled Reflecting on Creation and Providence. The basis of this chapter is that we need to rely on God and his almighty power and wisdom when contemplating chance. It is important to remember that God has provided guidance on our everyday lives and He always will. Psalm 121:2 reads “my help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.” This provides that God, the creator of heaven and earth, is willing to assist humans on earth and has remained provident through all of humanity. God’s providence has been seen throughout all of creation. By simply creating the heavens and the earth God has proved his providence to be true. In addition, Isaiah 51:12-13 says “I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass, that you forget the LORD your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction?” Although this passage in its entirety provides God’s providence to be true, the beginning of verse 12 starts with “I, even I, am he who comforts you” this is important to remember when when we fear the chance of certain event occurring. God has remained provident by simply attending to our needs and comforting us on the darkest days, even when it…

In the Apostles’ Creed, the first line states that, “I believe in God the Father Almighty Maker and Creator of heaven and earth”. This line can be referenced to Genesis 1:1, which says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. This can be referenced because it talks about in the Apostles’ Creed that God is the maker and creator of heaven and earth and in the bible scripture it tells you when and that God created the heavens and the earth. They are similar in many ways and are talking about the same thing on many lines. This is why I feel that this a great scripture reference to the first line of the Apostles’ Creed.…
