According to Redmond M "Two essential elements in every communication situation are the sender and the receiver.”Redmond’s view was that the sender and receiver are important elements in the communication process. The sender is the person who initiates the communication process, the message is the idea being conveyed through different media which is the channel that will carry the message and the receiver is the person who the message is intended.In the basic communication model illustrate above, the sender is point at the starting point of the communication process. The writer will briefly describe how various elements in the communication process making special note to the important role the sender plays in detail.
For the communication process to begin the sender has to have the message. The sender has the message that that they wish to send out to their audience without this message from the sender there is no communication for example an employer looking to hire a cook for his employers and ends up hiring from outside yet one of his employees had those qualifications but did not inform the human resources or include in his resume. The message is also an important element as it is the idea being shared, if the message is not of interest to the intended recipient that it could hinder effective communication, however without the sender to think of and deliver the message there
