Part I: Origins of Psychology
Within the discipline of psychology, there are several perspectives used to describe, predict, and explain human behavior. Describe three major psychological perspectives and name at least one leading theorist for each. One major perspective for psychology is the psycho-dynamic perspective, this is the approach that is most popularly associated with the discipline and nature of psychology for the past century. It was used by none other than Sigmund Frued, who was trained in neurology, and developed this theory. Another perspective is the Cognitive perspective, this is the explanations of human behavior perspective, and it is all about how the human mind controls the behavior and thought processes. Last but not least is the Behavioral perspective, the leading theorist for this one is John B. Watson, which he believes that a science of behavior was only built for observable behavior.

With any research method, the first thing you have to do is form a hypothesis, which is a testable statement that reflects what a researcher will expect to see in his experiment.
