Puppets As A Therapeutic Tool

Puppets can be used as a therapeutic tool to help have children use them to act out conflict that they are dealing with. Mainly conflicts that they would not feel comfortable talking about in any other way. Puppets also allow children to feel more comfortable performing and or being themselves around others.
A mask in regard to human behavior to me is when we pretend to be someone we aren’t in order to impress or make those of whom we hold in high regard happy. Masks can also be used to hide your true feelings in any situation someone feels uncomfortable showing how they truly feel. I feel you can forget that the characters are puppets and see them as actual actors because they are still a way for one to express emotion. Actors control puppets
