There are roles everyone needs to fill, and there becomes an expected way society expects people to fill those roles. But that is aside from the point I am trying to make here.

Her name was Brandi. She was mainly more my friend’s friend than mine. Brandi and I got along well enough, but were not close. She cornered me and dragged me to one of the slides where you do not get to use a floatie thing. At this time, I barely even knew how to swim, and another one of my friends did give me some tips and taught me to doggy paddle, but that was all I knew and my newly learned swimming skill was very weak. It wasn't much. Plus they literally taught me this not long before I was dragged outdoors by Brandi. Brandi went down the slide first, but she said if I didn’t do it, she’d come back up and force me to go down. I really did not want to go down the slide, but I did end up going down the slide, although looking back now there was several other options I could have done, but when I got to the bottom I went underwater, and could not make my way back to the surface. It seemed like forever, but eventually she grabbed me and dragged me out of the water. It was a good thing she did, because otherwise I most likely would have drowned.Therefore now, I try not to let people make decisions for me, and stay true to myself because in some cases it could literally be life or
