Quarta's Underestimated

Has anybody ever underestimated you? In the story “The Girl With Only 2 Arms and 2 Legs” by Stuart Baum the theme is “Don’t underestimate other by how they look”.The main character Quarta is underestimated a lot in the story just because of her appearance . She has been underestimated by her abilities, and her troubles on fitting in, and they underestimated her because of being a leader.

First of all the theme is “Don’t underestimate others by how they look”. Many people underestimated Quarta because of her abilities. When Quarta was born the doctors told her parents the “bad news” about her and that meant that the doctor underestimated her as well. Have you ever been in crowds knowing none of those people out there won’t be your friends because of how you look thats how Quarta felt. Also her parents even underestimated her because they were afraid that Quarta would get hurt or struggle because of her 2 arms and 2 legs . Parents can underestimate you many times but for Quarta she thinks it's just rude that her parents think she can’t be like the other kids because of her what she can or can’t do. In addition she was underestimated by everyone because everyone sees her getting fed by
As a result Quarta has very few friends and she struggles to fit in socially just because of how she looks. Many kids can put you down because of what you wear or a special ability you have but you don’t have to listen to them you are unique. Furthermore the other kids tease her they don’t even know how nice she is they just despise her because of how she looks they keep underestimating her. In addition the kids chanted “Kako was rescued by freak” which embarrassed Kako so he was ungrateful and he was mad at Quarta so that made her sad.
