This depletion of rainforests is a real thing, which if not sustained certainly will cause changes so drastic that the rainforests are virtually unrecoverable. As discussed earlier the deforestation of rainforests has the ability to cause, damaged oxygen cycle, no food or resources, no medicinal herbs or plants causing unknown disaster, and no more resources to build houses for out constantly growing population, this will have devastating effects on our eco-system.…
The rainforest is important in protecting our water and also in our climate control. We need the rainforests for climate control all over the world. Not just in one country but everywhere. They also help with erosion.…
ATTENTION ATTENTION!! Allies and Germany faced off in the Argonne forest!! The battle was on September 26 through November 11 in 1918. The battle was located in Argonne Forest in France on the Western Front. This is one of the greatest and largest battle ever fought in American history! This battle was a muddy, rainy battle with barbed wire and lots of machine guns.…
A rainforest is a sweltering, thick jungle that gets a lot of rain. Many plants and animal species live there. Most rainforests are located around the equator and near the tropics hence the name tropical rainforest. Rainforests are very important to the earth. They help to purify and clean the air that we breathe. Some of the resources we get from rainforests include chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, paper ,timber and medicine. Deforestation is a serious issue in nature today mostly because loggers our cutting down our air supply and farmers are burning down trees for more and more land. Most of them act illegally, but they should be aware that they are hurting themselves also Some people have been cutting down the trees to sell the wood and make room for farms. When the trees are cut down, many plants and animals die. Because rainforests are so…
* Forests help regulate the movement of water by pulling it from the soil and pumping it into the atmosphere (helps maintain climate)…
The rainforest helps reduces the climate changes worldwide. Also there are a ton of species living in all kinds of rainforests. Some valuable resources there that we all we are the type of plants we use for medicine, we get food there like bananas, we use tress as well, and many more but that's a few to name.…
OBSERVATION: Tropical rain forests are so far from Arizona they are almost mythical. We think of flocks of colorful birds, steaming undergrowth, bouquets of orchids, man-eating fish, leaping monkeys, and native people, some of whom may be headhunters. These impressions are great to watch on Animal Planet, but most of us in the developed world feel little direct connection with these strange and distant forests. However, the truth is every one of us has touched a rainforest today.…
The Rainforest’s global impact is severe because of its incredible size. It has the potential to change the climate, including precipitation patters and air concentrations. If mankind wants to improve, or at least stop degrading the rainforest, we should ban logging and start to replant and rebuild the…
I been living in the Redwood National and State Parks for my whole life, and I’m going to stay here for the rest of it too, but it’s not been boring at all. I’m the highest redwood tree in the forest, standing 379.7 feet tall. I have big, thick branches with abundant leaves at the end, and I am one of the most visited trees in the forest because of my impressive height. I remember that when I was growing up, I could see more people come and visit the park than what I see this day. This may not be a problem now, but it may lead to a big problem because if fewer people keep coming, fewer people will take care of nature, which that may lead into many bigger problems.…
The Rainforest biome helped the biospherians on their first mission by suppling them with essential materials for survival. The biome provided the biospherians with food, predominantly fruits but it also provided them with medical supplies. The biome supplied them with herbs and different types of plants that can have medical benefits. When creating the biome they did this on purpose because the biospherians had no physical contact with the out side world restricting their medical supplies. The rainforest biome also had another extreme benefit, because the large quantity of plants was able to sustainably convert Co2 to Oxygen. This played a key element in their survival because oxygen was very scarce.…
Many trees transpire groundwater through their roots, and release this moisture into the atmosphere. Once an area of forest in cleared, the water is not released into the atmosphere, resulting in loss of precipitation in nearby areas, ultimately resulted in insufficient nutrients for other areas of forest.…
Human beings have exploited the tropical rainforests for many years now for their abundance of resources and their biodiversity. The moist exploited is the Amazon rainforest which has already lost 20% of its area forever. Deforestation is the single biggest threat to the rainforest; the prime cause of it is cattle ranching. This is when land is cleared to provide space for cattle ranchers to herd their livestock to help increase beef production. This activity accounts for 60% of deforestation in Brazil, which is having a major effect on the biodiversity of the ecosystem. The impacts of deforestation are wide. In the Amazon there have been problems with increased forest fires, soil erosion and decreased biodiversity, caused by habitat loss. Subsistence farming is another factor…
Deforestation causes erosion which in turn causes poor soil farmers can’t use. When farmers have land with poor soil, they cut down more trees to clear land. This causes desertification to happen which means that people cannot get water, food, or maintain a healthy lifestyle.…
For thousands of years, the local residents of the rainforest have been residing in the rainforests of the Wet Tropics region. The Wet Tropics rainforests were one of the most populated areas of Australia, before the European settlement. The only area where Australian natives lived was located permanently in the rainforest. The rainforest native people’s environment had provided everything such as: spirituality, identity, social order, shelter, food, and medicine. The rainforest’s natives had an economic system in place which involved the exchanging of resources between different tribes.…
First of all, the effect of deforestation is pollution especially water pollution. This problem occurred when people often cut down the trees illegally. So, there are no roots to hold and prevent the soil from fall down. The soil that does not have roots to hold it can easily fall down into the river. Consequently, the water becomes polluted. Cloudy and shallow. From this, the aquatic life ecosystem will be threatened and damaged.…
