Kids of teen moms suffer consequences to their mother’s or someone else’s actions. The hard truth is, teens no matter how mature or “grown up” they think they are, they’re not ready to be fit parents. Statistics have shown time and time again.
Children of teen moms have medical health risks due to their young mother. A woman who becomes pregnant during their teens is at an increased risk of medical complications, such as premature labor. Premature labor means low birth weight which affects the infant.

Because of these statistics child protective services are always worried about children raised by teen moms. It’s not uncommon for the services to take their child away. It’s also not uncommon for the moms themselves to voluntarily give their child up.
Teen pregnancy is a huge social problem. There’s no easy solution. So called-solutions such as abortion are not answers. Things like that are only masking the big problem. However, there are ways we christians can make an impact on this enormous problem. We can start by educating teens about the biblical stance of having sex before marriage.
