Ralph Waldo Emerson Friendship Essay

“Friendship” When Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote out this essay, he was trying to be as direct, sophisticated, and blunt with how he felt about the word friendship. He wrote it in a way that anyone who was trying to read would understand, even if that person had to read it over and over again to try and understand the point he was making.
