Rashad was in high school when he just wanted to go and buy some chips. A lady tripped over Rashad at the store, making him drop the bag of chips, starting it all. After this incident it didn't matter what Rashad said next, that it was an accident, or that he wasn't stealing, the cop just kept beating and punching him making he him bleed worse to it being way to unnecessary. From this he became hospitalized and became absent from school many days through him being hospitalized then came the “#RashadIsAbsentAgainToday” protest. For example, coming from a shooting of an unarmed black person many supported and put many statements, reports, concerns out to the law enforcement for this issue only being because the police killed someone for their color. In the article,” Black Lives Matter,” it says,” The Justice Department on Wednesday cleared a white former Ferguson police officer in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black 18-year-old, but also issued a report calling for sweeping changes in city law enforcement practices it called discriminatory and unconstitutional.” This demonstrates on how all these problems that will come to the law enforcement will be due to a policeman being racist it came to killing an 18 year old African American. This could come to being even worse if we the people don’t get understood towards what we believe in, obviously we would react in a bad way towards where we live. For instance, they may say that there are police officers killed by criminals because the police officers are just doing their job. The article, “Blue Lives Matter” demonstrates a police officer's life that went down from a criminal who had been shoplifting. The police officer had just been doing what he had to do. It says,” Security guard Larry Drumgole was stabbed and killed by Jamel Kingsbury at a Virginia mall after he was stopped for shoplifting.” (2017). Even though this evidence suggests that police men/women are putting a risk of their lives daily from protecting people. This wasn't for racism it came from the consequences that happened for shoplifting. The cop was doing what he was supposed and had gotten killed. Furthermore, police put their lives in danger daily. Their was a police officer that had gotten attacked and badly beaten from a crowd of victims. In the article,” Blue Lives matter” it says,” An Orange County Deputy was attacked by a crowd of people on Sunday night who hit and choked him before other officers were able to help him.”(2017). This shows on how at times police officers aren't always the wrong ones. The crowd here they turned crazy on this cop and for sure almost killed him, in this time the cop should have used the force he had to because it was coming to defending himself in
