Therefore a more successful offender would abide to the theory of rational choice deterrence as he/she is not a simpleton, he/she has been down a similar road and knows what to expect and how to avoid certain mistakes made in the past, the weighing up of the multiple choices involved with this theory is necessary and comes from criminal mind that thinks before it
